Helpful Information:

Puppies are picked in the order deposits are received. Sometimes people choose right away from pictures, & you are welcome to do that when it's your turn to choose. For the ones that need to visit, you can plan to come after the puppies are 6 weeks old, we do not allow visitors to touch the puppies until the puppies receive their vaccine at 6 weeks old. Puppies can go home at 8 weeks, but no later than 9 weeks (unless other arrangements are made). After 9 weeks you will incur a $10 per day boarding fee.

Final payment for the puppy is due at pickup.

TLC PUPPY FOOD

Set your dog up on a feeding schedule. Feed at or as close to the same time every day. Put the food bowl down for 10-15 minutes. When the time is up, take the food up. Your puppy is eating 2 times a day, 7 am & 7 pm. When your puppy leaves, they will be eating 3/4 cup each feeding. Success is a clean bowl, if they aren't eating all the food they may need less food.

Typically we feed

1 1/2 cups a day from 6-9 weeks old

2 1/4 cups a day from 9-12 weeks old

3 cups a day from 12-15 weeks old

after 15 weeks we may go up to 4 cups a day it all depends on how the puppy looks, if you can see ribs the puppy needs more food, if you are seeing a belly when they are laying down then they need less food.

Use the guide on the back of your dog food bag to know how much is recommended for your dog each day, keep in mind the amount of food will need to increase as your dog gets older & during a growth spurt time.

We choose to feed our dogs and proudly recommend TLC Puppy Food. Delivering the ultimate balance of quality meats, animal fats, vitamins and minerals, TLC Puppy Food provides everything your puppy needs to develop into a strong, healthy and energetic dog. We have used this formula for over 5 years now.

We change our puppies over to TLC Dog Food at 1 year old.

NUVET VITAMINS
NuVet Plus is not just a vitamin. It's an immune system builder with a precise balance of vitamins, minerals, omega fatty acids, amino acids and high-potency antioxidants. That's why it works so well through all three stages of a dog's life.

We use the NuVet vitamins with our puppies and our adults.

Your puppy with come with 3 vitamin wafers at pickup, break each one into 4 pieces that will give you 12 pieces total. You will start with 1/4th of a wafer in the AM, once your puppy has made their adjustment to your home, you may begin to increase the vitamin wafer to 1/2. After a few more days you can go to 3/4 wafer & then onto the whole vitamin wafer.

For younger dogs (under 2 years old), it strengthens their immune system, while building and strengthening the cardiovascular, skeletal and nerve systems.

For dogs in their prime (age 2-8), it improves the luster of their skin and coat while protecting against allergies, skin and coat problems, staining from tears, digestive problems, etc.

For older dogs (over 8 years old), it helps reduce and eliminate arthritis, tumors, premature aging, cataracts, heart conditions, diabetes and many types of cancer, while extending the life and improving the vitality of most dogs.

NuVet also has a joint vitamin that dogs need as they age. We start ours on NuJoint at 5 years old.

You may order directly from the manufacturer by calling 1-800-474-7044 and using Order Code: 75134, or ordering online at www.nuvet.com/75134 . By using auto ship you can save an additional 15%.

Dosage is 1 wafer per day.

To the long life and health of your dog!
